‘Parasite’ Wins Best Film & Director From North Carolina Film Critics Association

The North Carolina Film Critics Association (NCFCA) have announced their winners.

Leading huge wins is “Parasite,” the narrative feature from Bong Joon-Ho, who also secured the win for Best Director. “Parasite” also won in the Best Foreign Language Film category and Best Original Screenplay.

The NCFCA’s Ken Hanke Memorial Tar Heel, recognizing a film, artists, or performer with a special connection to North Carolina, was given to directors Tyler Nilson & Michael Schwatrz for “The Peanut Butter Falcon.”
