Star Paul Walter Hauser To Guest On ‘Circuit Breaker: The Extras’ On Tuesday, March 24

Today, we are announcing that Paul Walter Hauser, star of Clint Eastwood’s “Richard Jewell” from 2019, will be a guest on the Tuesday, March 24th episode of “Circuit Breaker: The Extras.”

As announced last week, due to the recommendations to self-quarantine, and with businesses temporarily closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AwardsCircuit launched the “Community Engagement Initiative” which is committed to bringing more content to our esteemed readers during this global crisis.

Hauser, who is following the strict guidelines and encouraging many to heed the recommendations of our government officials, is coming off an exceptional year. Winning the Breakthrough Performance award from the National Board of Review, the Michigan born actor has a number of exciting projects on the horizon.

With an upcoming role in Spike Lee’s “Da 5 Bloods” from Netflix, which marks his second collaboration with the iconic filmmaker following “BlacKkKlansman” (which won the Oscar for Adapted Screenplay), he’s going to be another talent to watch.

He also has upcoming roles in Tiller Russell’s “Silk Road” opposite Jason Clarke, the long-delayed “Adam” (formerly “Quad”) opposite Aaron Paul and Jeff Daniels, and an untitled TV movie from FOX co-starring Katie Holmes and written by Ilene Chaiken (writer of “The L Word” and producer of “The Handmaid’s Tale”) and Melissa Scrivner-Love (writer/producer of “Rosewood”).

Circuit Breaker: The Extras” is released as a podcast on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher, and all other major podcast releasing platforms. The video recording is streamed LIVE on the AwardsCircuit Media YouTube channel. The stream is LIVE and listeners and readers can engage by submitting questions LIVE during the episode recording.

While 2019 marked his “breakout year” in the eyes of awards pundits, we recognized his talent and abilities early as scene-stealing and eccentric “Shawn” in Craig Gillespie’s “I, Tonya.”

Fun fact, since 2017, at least one film per year in which he’s had a role, has resulted in Oscar attention for his co-stars:

  • “I, Tonya” (2017) – Margot Robbie (nominated for Lead Actress) and Allison Janney (won Supporting Actress)
  • “BlacKkKlansman” (2018) – Adam Driver (nominated for Supporting Actor)
  • “Richard Jewell” (2019) – Kathy Bates (nominated for Supporting Actress)

Join us tomorrow for the LIVE recording and you can begin to submit questions for Paul Walter Hauser in the comments section below.

A producer comes up to you and tells you that they’re making a movie just for you, and you can play absolutely any kind of character that you want, including characters from other movies. What role would you most want to play?
