Take a look at the Final Shot of every Best Picture winner

end of movieI came across this last night and thought it was right up our alley here at The Awards Circuit, so I wanted to make sure that I shared it with you all. Basically, it’s a supercut of the last shot of every single Best Picture winner to date, including the most recent victor in 12 Years a Slave. It’s pretty interesting and it’s kind of fun to try and see which movies have similar endings, or whatever other type of element you want to look into. Mostly, it’s just another Oscar related thing for us awards nuts. Personally, most of my favorite final shots are from non Best Picture winners, but that’s just me. You can see the video below, and feel free to discuss it as you see fit. Take a look…

When he’s not obsessing over new Oscar predictions on a weekly basis, Joey is seeing between 300 and 350 movies a year. He views the best in order to properly analyze the awards race/season each year, but he also watches the worst for reasons he mostly sums up as "so you all don't have to". In his spare time, you can usually find him complaining about the Jets or the Mets. Still, he lives and dies by film. Joey's a voting member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
