Happy Star Wars Day, everyone! May the fourth be with you.
And to celebrate this grandest of fake holidays, the good people at Lucasfilm released a new clip of the upcoming “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”
To recap the latest story:
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
The clip, which you can watch below, shows the moment Chewbacca steps into the co-pilot’s seat. Everyone’s favorite Wookiee has some surprises for his new friend, Han.
Alden Ehrenreich stars as the scruffy-looking nerfherder himself. Donald Glover takes up the mantle (and coat) of Lando Calrissian. Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Paul Bettany also star in the last galactic adventure.
Ron Howard directs the film, and has been having a lot of fun on the promotional side. If you missed it, he even recorded a special hybrid Star Wars/Arrest Development video earlier this week.
The father and son pair Lawrence Kasdan and Jonathan Kasdan wrote the script. The elder Kasdan previously wrote “Empire Strikes Back” and “The Force Awakens.”
Tickets are now on sale from all of your favorite theaters and movie ticket sellers.
“Solo: A Star Wars Story” hits theaters on May 25.
