WATCH: Charlize Theron Reunites With Jason Reitman for ‘Tully’

Focus Features released the teaser trailer for its upcoming film, “Tully.”

Academy Award winner Charlize Theron stars as Marlo, an overworked mother whose life changes when her brother gifts her a night nurse named Tully.

Mackenzie Davis stars as Tully. She appeared last year in “Blade Runner 2049” as well as an episode of “Black Mirror” and the series “Halt and Catch Fire.”

Ron Livingston plays Marlo’s husband. Livingston was nominated for a Golden Globe for his supporting performance in the miniseries, “Band of Brothers.” He was also part of the nominated SAG Ensemble for “Boardwalk Empire.” Livingston also starred in feature films including “Office Space” and “The Conjuring.”

Mark Duplass stars as Marlo’s brother and benefactor. He has appeared in a number of films and television series from “The Mindy Project” to “Tammy.” He and his brother Jay also created the HBO series “Room 104.”

“Tully” marks a reunion for Charlize Theron with director Jason Reitman and writer Diablo Cody. The three previously worked together on the 2011 film, “Young Adult,” which also starred Patton Oswalt and Patrick Wilson.

Reitman earned his first Oscar nomination for directing “Juno” in 2007. That film launched him and writer Diablo Cody to prominence. Reitman followed that with “Up in the Air” in 2009. That film, starring George Clooney, earned six overall Academy Award nominations. Reitman received three of those nominations.

Diablo Cody made her screenwriting debut on “Juno.” She earned an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. She went on to other projects including “Jennifer’s Body” and the Golden Globe-winning series “United States of Tara.”

“Tully” is distributed by Focus Features and will be in theaters on April 20.
