The Parr family is back in the official trailer for “Incredibles 2.”
The latest Disney/Pixar collaboration returns with a fresh look at the newest adventure for your favorite super family.
The official synopsis reads:
In ‘Incredibles 2,’ Helen is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.”
All of your favorites are back in this new adventure. Craig T. Nelson voices Bob, and Holly Hunter is Helen. Sarah Vowell returns as oldest daughter Violet, and Samuel L. Jackson is Lucius/Frozone.
The film welcomes newcomers Huck Milner as son Dash. Bob Odenkirk and Catherine Keener are Winston and Evelyn Deavor. Isabella Rossellini is the Ambassador, and John Ratzenberger pops up again as The Underminer.
Writer/director Brad Bird returns to the sequel, as well. He also voices Edna Mode, the go-to designer for every Super’s suit. Bird won an Academy Award for directing “The Incredibles” to Best Animated Feature in 2004. The film also won an Oscar for Sound Editing, and scored nominations for Original Screenplay for Bird, and Sound Mixing. Bird also directed “The Iron Giant,” “Ratatouille,” and “Mission: Impossible—Ghost Protocol.”
