Netflix released the official trailer for its upcoming sitcom, “Disjointed.”
The 30-minute comedy stars Kathy Bates as Ruth. Ruth is a lawyer and lifelong advocate for cannabis legalization. When California legalizes cannabis, Ruth fulfills her lifelong dream of opening a dispensary in Los Angeles. She is joined by her son, a security guard, and three “budtenders.”
“Disjointed” also stars Tone Bell (“Bad Judge”), Aaron Moten (“Mozart in the Jungle”), Elizabeth Alderfer (“Game Day”), Dougie Baldwin (“Nowhere Boys”) and Elizabeth Ho (“Fifty Shades of Black”).
The series was created by Emmy-winning producers Chuck Lorre and David Javerbaum. Lorre created “The Big Bang Theory,” “Two and a Half Men,” and more. Javerbaum has worked on the Tony Awards, the Primetime Emmy Awards, and “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”
“Disjointed” will be available for streaming on Friday, August 25.
