WATCH: New Trailer for ‘Brad’s Status’ Starring Ben Stiller

Amazon Studios released the first trailer for its upcoming film “Brad’s Status.”

Mike White wrote and directed the film. He previously wrote the scripts for “School of Rock” and “Nacho Libre.” In 2003, he won the Independent Spirit Award for his script, “The Good Girl.”

“Brad’s Status” stars Ben Stiller as Brad Sloan. His son, Troy (Austin Abrams), is a musical prodigy headed off to college. Brad has a good life outside of Sacramento with his son and wife, Melanie (Jenna Fischer). When Brad accompanies his son to Boston on a college tour, he starts to relive his glory days and starts to compare his life with the lives of his four best friends. When he reunites with his successful friends, he starts to wonder if, maybe, his life is the most fulfilling after all.

Luke Wilson, Mike White, Jemaine Clement, and Michael Sheen appear as Brad’s four college friends.

The film was produced by Plan B Entertainment and is being distributed by Annapurna and Amazon.

“Brad’s Status” is set to hit theaters on September 15.
