The official trailer for George Clooney‘s “Suburbicon” is here.
“Suburbicon” stars Matt Damon as a suburban dad whose quiet life is turned upside down after a home invasion robbery. Julianne Moore, Oscar Isaac, and Noah Jupe also star in the drama.
Damon, who was nominated for an Academy Award for “The Martian” two years ago, also stars in this fall’s latest Alexander Payne film, “Downsizing.” Moore won an Academy Award for “Still Alice,” and will also star in the upcoming “Kingsman: The Golden Circle.” Oscar Isaac reprises his role as Poe Dameron in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” And young Noah Jupe has five projects in various stages of post-production.
The film, being marketed as a drama, appears to have a definite Coen Brothers/dark humor twist to it. Joel Coen and Ethan Coen co-wrote the script, along with director George Clooney and his frequent collaborator and producing partner, Grant Heslov.
“Suburbicon” will be in theaters nationwide on October 27, following a special screening at the Venice Film Festival in September.
