Watch the Red Band Trailer for ‘American Ultra’ starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart

American-Ultra-still-MTV-700x300When I first heard that Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart were making another film together, I was rather delighted. Oddly enough, when I hear that it was a stoner action movie, it only excited me more. After all, they did pretty outstanding work together as stoners in the making in Adventureland, so why not be pumped for American Ultra? Well, a Red Band Trailer for the film has dropped, and it should only increase excitement levels, as it appears to be a ton of fun, seeing Eisenberg as a stoner who finds out he’s a sleeper secret agent for the government. In addition to Eisenberg (who is on a Trailer role after also having The End of the Tour drop a first look this week) and Stewart, the flick features Connie Britton, Topher Grace, John Leguizamo, and more. Max Landis (of Chronicle fame) wrote the script, while Nima Nourizadeh is in the director’s chair for the action-comedy. You can see the Red Band below, and stay tuned for more on this one between now and the end of the summer. I was excited before, but having seen this Trailer, I’m really down for this one in a big way. American Ultra hits theaters on August 21st, so sit tight until then.

Here’s the Trailer:
