We’ll be getting a trailer for the mother of all comic book films tomorrow! Joe and Anthony Russo, the Marvel directors currently helming “Avengers: Infinity War,” have been teasing fans all day with a special teaser for the trailer and a quick Tom Holland (“Spider-Man: Homecoming”) skit with a new poster reveal, courtesy of Mark Ruffalo (“Thor: Ragnarok”).
After some early calls for attention with a cute (3, 2, 1…) countdown on their profile photo, the Russo brothers finally gave us a hint to all the fuss. The teaser features a host of excited fans watching previous Marvel trailers until a final title card lets us know that tomorrow, fans will be sitting down once again for a new look at the upcoming Marvel flick.
An hour later, the Russo brothers posted another video, this time from Spider-Man. Holland opens a special package from Ruffalo, aka the Hulk, with a letter jokingly printed with a “confidential” warning on the back. Inside was the new “Avengers: Infinity War” poster, giving fans another hint at the film. Everything’s been quiet on the directing duo’s Facebook page since then, but we’ll be sure to update you if that changes…again.
“Avengers: Infinity War” features the original cast of “The Avengers,” (Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson and Ruffalo), the “Guardians of the Galaxy” (Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper) and every other Marvel superhero and Avenger that’s hit the silver screen since RDJ’s first appearance as Iron Man. All the Marvel films have been building up towards Infinity War, the huge battle against space dictator Thanos for the precious, all powerful Infinity Stones. Who will win the battle of the century?
“Avengers: Infinity War” hits theaters May 4, 2018. Watch the teaser trailer for tomorrow’s full, official trailer below.
