Tonight is a superhero kind of night…there’s X-Men (“The Wolverine”), raunchy masked-crusaders (“Deadpool”) and intergalactic buddy comedy (“Thor: Ragnarok”). If you’re looking for something a little more serious and hard-hitting, there’s classic Spielberg (“The Color Purple”), Westerns (“Stagecoach” or “True Grit”) or a little TV drama (“Prodigal Son,” “Manifest,” “All Rise,” or “The New Pope”). Or maybe you’re more of a reality TV enthusiastic, Monday’s got that covered too (“The Bachelor,” “Spy Games,” “90 Day Fiancé: Watch Party,” “Below Deck,” or “Love and Hip Hop”).

Pick of the Day:

“Spy Games” (Bravo) at 10:00 p.m. ET

How would you like to step into James Bond’s shoes? Curious to see what a life of intrigue and espionage is like? Well, you can live vicariously through the contestants on Bravo’s new series “Spy Games.” They’ve taken 10 contestants and put them all in a compound where they compete in all types of challenges against their fellow contestants in the art of espionage for a chance at $100,000. Tune in this week as the seeds of doubt and backstabbing are planted in the house.

Movies on TV:

“Thor: Ragnarok” (TNT) 7:30 PM ET

By far one of the funniest and most fun movies in the Marvel cinematic universe, 2017’s “Thor: Ragnarok” is a psychedelic thrill-ride through the galaxy. Directed by the insanely talented Taika Waititi, this one is filled with lots of laughs and just as much action while Thor (Chris Hemsworth) races back to Asgard to fend off it’s impending destruction at the hands of villainess Hela (Cate Blanchett does one helluva villain). Also starring Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban and the rest of the Marvel regulars (Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, Jeff Goldblum and Benedict Cumberbatch), you’re definitely in for a fun treat tonight.

“The Color Purple” (Sundance) 8:00 p.m. ET

This one is a classic…and just in time for “Black History Month.” Steven Spielberg‘s 1985 seminal adaptation of Alice Walker’s acclaimed novel, “The Color Purple” is a cinematic masterpiece that tells the story of a black woman who struggles to find herself and overcome the abuse in past. Spanning four decades, this film is filled with great acting performances from the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey, Danny Glover and Margaret Avery and even better dialogue and cinematography. Definitely a must watch tonight, but be prepared for all the feels.

“Deadpool” (Freeform) 8:30 PM ET

Keeping it in the Marvel family, tune in to watch the foul-mouth, hilarious mercenary “Deadpool” tonight. Full of wisecracks, sarcasm and loads of action, this film will definitely keep you glued to the screen tonight. Ryan Reynolds is perfect as the raunchy “anti-superhero” and Ed Skrein shines as his nemesis Ajax. It’ll be pared down somewhat for primetime, but the writing and dialogue in this addition to the MCU is bold, clever and riotous, a perfect end to your Monday night.
