Now that we are into the second week of January, our favorite shows now return to the screen. “Modern Family” “Single Parents” “Chicago Med” Chicago P.D.” “Chicago Fire” and “Stumptown” all return tonight from winter break. Additionally, there are several new shows premiering tonight including season 10 of “Undercover Boss,” the revamp of the 1994 series “Party of Five,” and “Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time.”

Pick of the Day

“Party of Five” (Freeform) at 9:00 p.m. ET

Based on the 1994 Fox series of the same name, “Party of Five” premieres on Freeform tonight with a new spin on a classic tale. Differing from the 1994 version where the children’s’ parents died, this version follows the Acostas, a Latinx family whose parents have been deported. A story more relevant now than ever, these five siblings struggle to stay together despite the circumstances of foster care and their varying ages. “Party of Five” stars Emily Tosta, Brandon Larracuente, Niko Guardado, and Elle Paris Legaspi as the five siblings. Tune in tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Freeform for the two-hour premiere.

Movies on TV

“Hidden Figures” (FX) at 11:00 p.m. ET

Based on a true story, this 2016 film tells the tale of three African-American women involved in putting men on the moon. Set in the early ’60s, these mathematicians struggle to contribute to the project at NASA despite their persecution and challenges related to their race. An inspiring story, this film shows what happens women of conscious refuse to follow the rules.
